Samsung S4 Zoom Review

So for the last couple of weeks I’ve been getting to grips with my new Samsung S4 Zoom *.

Samsung S4 Zoom Review

I had been using my S4 prior to this so was happy with the upgrade – I keep going on about the amazing camera on this device and telling well everyone this needs to be their next handset. Like seriously the camera is 16 Megapixel (My DSLR is 18.5) so all that means is it is pretty good lol.Samsung S4 Zoom Review

Check out some of the images I’ve taken with it (P.S It zooms 10x in and if you focus you get a really amazing close up image without blur) :

The detail in this shot of my froyo is insane! You can even see the raspberry hairs

Dinner At Wahaca

Some tomatoes I grew.

Orchids and my new favourite scent

Burberry Nail Varnish

The Natural History Museum

Graffiti in Bricklane

You;d think the lens and grip on the back would make it pretty heavy but its lightweight and comfortable to hold and it also fit into pockets- another worry I’d had.

Check out how good the zoom at 10x is:

The V&A

I’m sure by now you’ve realised how awesome this handset is lol.

The Zoom is shorter  and thinner than the S4 Galaxy I has

For those of you more tech savvy you can actually shoot in manual(changing your  EV, ISO, white balance, metering, shutter speed, and aperture.)

An image I took of my chandelier in low light still looks great with virtually no noise:

It’s a very straightforward phone and not hard to navigate. My favourite inbuilts are the SMemo (a notepad of sorts you can write, draw or type in),Google Maps (I get lost so much in London) Dropbox and the Weather Widget. Also I use Google Chrome and its pretty much like being on my computer you can also open tabs you had open on the computer on your phone.

Other less obvious apps you should download: Snapseed (for editing), WordPress- is amazing on Android I’ve posted quite a bit on the go (or blogger),Pinterest, Shape’d (this is the android version of afterlight) and iBooks (for all the ebooks).

I’m enjoying not being that girl who had to have her charger all the time my battery lasts all day which is something I’m not used to with smart phones!

Overall the phone is amazing and perfect for shutterbugs like me and those of you want that little bit extra from your smartphone.

I honestly haven’t got anything negative to say.

In terms of storage its 8GB with only 5GB available but you can get a micro SD but I’m yet to need one.

My handset was gifted to me by Samsung but as always all thoughts and opinions are my own. I genuinely think the handset is great and it has replaced my Samsung Galaxy S4.
