For an avid heel avoider there is something to be said about statement flats. Unless it’s date night or I’m getting Uber’s or driving everywhere, me in anything higher than an inch is simply not happening.Nope! No Siree, Bob.

But #flatslife can get a little boring and blasé I’ve found statement flats to be the perfect solution they give an instant lift to an outfit much like a pair of killer pumps can, but this is one lift that won’t end in me tripping up or limping days later mind! These Boden pointed pumps (I picked up at this LFW’s The Apartment) go so with well everything -all black ensembles ofcourse , casual blue jeans, statement t-shirt and leather jacket combinations or my typical outfit for meetings; tailored patterned trousers, white shirt and a cape coat. I also like to think a pointed pump with details add an air of sophistication to flats, they in my eyes seem infinitely more grown up and make an outfit seem more put together – don’t ask me why, it’s simply one of those things I’ve decided.
